Dreams of life, money and love

God is watch­ing from above

Mak­ing sure to answer the call

Stum­bling, fal­ter­ing but never do fall

Night­mares and day­dreams yet bad are few

Liv­ing our lives is all we can do

Lis­tens always, but never heeding

Hurt­ing, cry­ing and some­times bleeding

Wish­ing for hap­pi­ness and for peace

Liv­ing a life that we only lease

Wait­ing for God to come once again

Miss­ing the loss of our dear­est friend

Trou­bles are many and sel­dom last

Futures are prayers that move very fast

Hop­ing that heartaches all go away

Real­ity comes with each wak­ing day

Turn­ing a cor­ner with tears in our eyes

Look­ing and watch­ing the clouds in the skies

Are you up there, God, or here with me

Inside the heart is the reality

Take a step and hold out the hand

Search­ing for the Promised Land

Learn the lessons God gives in life

Toil, anger, grief and strife

Build the plans and make the dream

Where is the peace, what does it mean

Work and rest and work again

Liv­ing the life that has not been

Focus life with guid­ance and love

Find­ing com­fort sent from heaven above

All things change we know with certainty

Take time for dreams to become reality
