I posted my rec­om­men­da­tion in good faith for the  “MyTV­Clas­si­fied” offer.  The promise was a free trial and the offered showed no pay­ment due until Novem­ber 12 which would have allowed for one full month of trial before pay­ment.  As I did believe this to be a worth­while idea and was will­ing to enter as a mem­ber, I made my choice to pass along the infor­ma­tion to you.

Since then I have been told that the site wasn’t ready so lim­ited access until Octo­ber 12 when prod­uct was to launch.  Okay, I can make sense out of that.  I was will­ing to wait before I tried to look at and test the prod­uct fully.  Then I was bom­barded with offers to join the auto-ship imme­di­ately.  Okay, I signed up for the auto-ship.  If it was going to be as good as I thought then it was fine because I would do it later any­way.  Still not upset with them and giv­ing the ben­e­fit of the doubt.  I made refer­rals and posted my rec­om­men­da­tions to others.

Then, “WHAM!!!”

I get an email stat­ing that I must ver­ify my pre-enrollment, (okay, under­stand­able still).  But, then the email con­tin­ues on to say that I must join the auto-ship (okay, already had done that), and they would charge the first auto-ship bill on Octo­ber 12 (??? = I’m not going for chang­ing in the mid­dle of the stream when I haven’t even had a chance to look at the inside of the product/service, yet).

Totally irate and furi­ous.  How could any com­pany tell you that you will get to “trial run” a prod­uct for a month free if you joined dur­ing pre-enrollment, then when you must enroll for the launch change the rules?  Peo­ple watch out for this kind of thing.

I have can­celled my agree­ment with them, sent them a nasty let­ter of it being a farce, and informed them that I will pass this mes­sage along the same as I passed the rec­om­men­da­tions along.  If you joined, because of my rec­om­men­da­tion, and unless you are still com­pletely sat­is­fied with this type of treat­ment and agree­ment, please send an email to :

and request that your agree­ment be can­celed imme­di­ately.  If later they wish to make an hon­or­able offer in a form that is agree­able, I will re-enroll and hope that you will do the same.  For now, I hope that you will not join a com­pany that has no scru­ples about how it treats their membership.

Again, I apol­o­gize to my read­ers for giv­ing bad infor­ma­tion, but I promised to let you know when I learned things.  I also know that I must take respon­si­bil­ity to insure your safety through what I rec­om­mend and that if that means I must apol­o­gize and admit that I made a mis­take — then so be it!!!

I would rather have read­ers fol­low me because they can trust that I will do my best for them, than to man­u­fac­ture a list of thou­sands who have no idea who or what I really stand for.

If what I said makes sense, I hope you will pass it along.  Even if you didn’t actu­ally sign some­one up to this as a refer­ral, it is time we take back the right to demand equal and fair ser­vice with­out “shenani­gans” that are intended to feed someone’s pocket and give no ben­e­fit to the buyer.
